Tuna and Pasta Bake


1 1/2 oz (40g) butter or margarine
1 1/2 oz (40g) plain flour
1 pt (600ml) milk
pinch of salt
4 tblsp tomato sauce
2 large tins tuna, drained
1 medium tin sweetcorn
1 cup pasta, cooked
tomato or prawn cocktail flavoured crisps, crushed


1. Melt butter, stir in flour, then add milk gradually until sauce is thick and smooth, seasoning to taste.
2. Add all other ingredients (except crisps) and mix well.
3. Place in an ovenproof dish and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for 20-30 minutes.
4. Sprinkle with crisps prior to serving with baked potatoes.
