Supper Sausage Roll


1 lb (450g) pork sausagemeat
8 oz (225g) boiled potatoes, mashed
1 small onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp tomato ketchup
salt and pepper
13 oz (375g) packet of puff pastry
milk to glaze


1. Place sausagemeat, potatoes, onion, celery, curry powder, ketchup and seasoning in a large bowl.
2. Combine and form into a 10″ roll.
3. Roll out pastry into a rectangle, 8″ x 10″.
4. Place meat roll onto pastry, damp edges and roll up.
5. Cut into required sizes.
6. Place on baking tray, brush with milk and score with knife.
7. Bake in a pre-heated oven 200°C/400°F/Gas 6 for 45 minutes.
8. Serve with salad.
