9 oz (250g) oatmeal
3 oz (75g) S. R. flour
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp cream of tartar
¼ tsp salt
2 oz (50g) melted butter
milk to mix


1. Put dry ingredients into a bowl.
2. Add melted butter and sufficient milk to make a pliable dough.
3. Roll out in oatmeal and cut as desired.
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for 30-35 minutes.
