Microwaved Minced Beef and Bean Casserole


1 onion, chopped
1 lb (450g) minced beef
9 oz (250g) baked beans
2 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tblsp tomato purée
1/4 pt (150ml) beef stock
salt and pepper


1. Cook onion in covered dish for 3 minutes on “High”.
2. Stir in mince, cover and cook for 5 minutes on “High”.
3. Break up after 2 minutes and drain off excess fat.
4. Stir in beans, Worcestershire sauce, tomato purée, stock and seasoning.
5. Cover and cook on “High” for 15 minutes.
