3 oz (75g) butter
3 oz (75g) cooking fat
5 oz (150g) caster sugar
1 egg, beaten
10 oz (275g) S. R. flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
cherries for decorating
1. Cream butter, fat and sugar together.
2. Add egg, flour and vanilla essence and mix well.
3. Roll into small balls and cover in cornflakes.
4. Place on a baking tray and press ¼ cherry on top.
5. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for 15-20 minutes.
