Honey Date Bars


3 oz (75g) plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
4 oz (100g) dates, chopped
2 oz (50g) nuts
2 eggs, beaten
4 tblsp honey
2 oz (50g) butter, melted


1. Sieve dry ingredients together and mix with dates and nuts.
2. Blend together eggs, honey and butter, add to dry ingredients and mix well.
3. Press into a greased 8″ square tray.
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for 25 minutes.
