Garlic Mackerel


6 large or 8 small mackerel fillets
1 clove garlic
1 egg, beaten
seasoned flour
butter for frying
lemon juice


1. Mince garlic finely, divide between fillets and rub in well.
2. Dip mackerel in beaten egg and then coat in flour.
3. Fry in butter for 4-5 minutes on each side.
4. Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve.
