Fruit and Nut Flapjacks


5 oz (150g) soft margarine
3 oz (75g) soft brown sugar
5 oz (150g) golden syrup
10 oz (275g) muesli
4 oz (100g) porridge oats
1 tblsp orange juice


1. Melt margarine, sugar and syrup together.
2. Mix in the muesli, oats and juice.
3. Spread the mixture into an 11″ x 7″ Swiss roll tin.
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven 190°C/375°F/Gas 5 for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
5. Cut flapjacks with sharp knife when cold.
