4 oz (100g) margarine
4 oz (100g) porridge oats
1 level tsp baking powder
2 1/2 oz (65g) S. R. flour
2 oz (50g) demerara sugar
1. Melt margarine, stir in all other ingredients and mix well.
2. Press mixture into a greased Swiss roll tin.
3. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for 30-40 minutes.
4. Cut carefully into squares, cool and sprinkle with caster sugar.
