Broccoli Salad

Serves: 4-6


8 slices bacon
1 head broccoli
1 onion, chopped finely
1 teacup cheese, grated
½ teacup mayonnaise
¼ teacup sugar
1 tblsp vinegar


1. Place bacon in frying pan with no oil, fry until crisp then chop into small pieces.
2. Break head of broccoli into very small florets. Peel and grate stems.
3. Mix together bacon, broccoli, onion and cheese.
4. Stir mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together and pour over broccoli mix.
5. Make the day before and keep refrigerated.
