Berry Glory


12 oz (350g) summer fruits (raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, etc.)
6 oz (175g) meringues, lightly crushed
¾ pt (425ml) double cream, whipped
2 oz (50g) hazelnuts, chopped
mint or grated chocolate to decorate


1. Layer fruit, meringue, cream and hazelnuts in 6 glasses, finishing with a layer of cream.
2. Chill to allow meringue to soften.
3. Serve decorated with sprigs of mint or grated chocolate.
