Update and Thanks from the Moldova Support Group

Below is a message of thanks from Ann Macaulay on behalf of the Moldova Support Group who we supported part of last year’s project ‘Embracing the World with a Touch of the Gospel’. The funds raised by WfM will support the work of a church in Nisporeni, Moldova. The group were particularly grateful for these funds during a year where normal fundraising efforts were not possible due to Covid.

Dear ladies of the Board and all your supporters throughout the country,

We are absolutely delighted to confirm that your donation of £8,500 was received by us yesterday.

It is far above anything we could imagine, just as scripture tells us in Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,…”.

I have shared this with Pastor Alex today and he responded as follows: “Praise to our Lord for His Providence. He knows when to do things at their time. Thank you for letting me know. I will let the church know. God bless.”

Although Covid restrictions curtailed our normal fundraising this past year we trusted that God would continue to bless the work in Nisporeni, Moldova, and He certainly has with this unexpected and most generous provision.

The outcomes with this project are still on track, despite the impact of Covid. However, there may be adjustments to the delivery to meet local restrictions and so I will send an up-to-date report on the current status shortly.

In the meantime, we just wanted to pass on our grateful thanks and ask for your continued prayerful support of the charity’s work in Moldova.

With every blessing for all that you do, by showing love for those in need and helping to spread the Gospel across the world.

On behalf of the Board of trustees and supporters of Moldova Support Group

Anne Macaulay
