We also look forward to sharing updates on the funds raised for WfM’s 2025/26 Project, Flourish and announcing our next project and the new opportunities it offers for us to collaborate with Christian organisations making a positive impact, both practically and spiritually, locally and abroad, often under difficult circumstances.
After the meeting, we’ll have refreshments and a bookstall featuring some fantastic books.
It would be lovely to see as many people as possible gather with us in Glasgow – all women welcome!

Marsali Campbell
Nurse – has served in Bolivia, Uganda and India
It has been an immense privilege, and a challenge also, to serve God in India, Uganda and Bolivia. As a nurse, I have specialised in children/paediatrics, tropical medicine and global health. In South India I worked in a rural mission hospital, but in Hindu community. In Uganda I worked for 20 years with an Ugandan Christian ministry called Dwelling Places, reaching street connected children, trafficked and abused children. In Bolivia I was learning Spanish, and working in a community clinic serving the indigenous Quechua people. Also I have served in child protection roles within our International network of mission organisations.
I am currently on home assignment, a time to rest and have time with family and friends, and my home church, doing deputation talks, also doing some Global health studies as I continue to maintain my UK nurse registration requirements.
I hope to share a little about ‘Why Mission? Why are we involved in various ways, at home and overseas, why? Because He is worth it – Matthew 26 v 6-13.

David & Martha MacPherson
Govan Free Church
David & Martha serve in Govan Free Church, a small but special church plant in a community with its fair share of challenges – and its share of grace. The congregation is made up of people from all kinds of backgrounds, drawn together by the gospel into a loving church family.
Their building, ‘Bethesda Hall’, reflects their hope of being a true House of Grace – a place where the grace of God is preached, shared, and seen.

Hannah Fowler
SAV Fund Recipient (Volunteer)
My name is Hannah and I’m from Edinburgh but am currently in my third year studying Psychology at the University of Aberdeen. I am a member of Bon Accord Free church and am really enjoying worshiping and serving there. I especially enjoy serving in our youth group and Sunday school. I am also involved in the Christian Union and have loved serving on committee as Publicity coordinator this past year. In my free time I really enjoy running, playing hockey and spending time with my friends!
Last summer I went to Ecuador for 6 weeks on a mission trip which was an incredible experience and I am so grateful to WFM for the donation they gave me which helped to make my trip possible.
